PARKING
Parking is available below the castral village / monument. It's a 5-10 minute walk from the parking lot up to the castle entrance.
This municipal parking lot is subject to a charge every day of the year.

Services and visiting conditions
- Dogs on a leash are allowed on the castle’s outdoor grounds.
- Pets are not permitted on the indoor tour of the furnished rooms, even if carried in a bag.
- Prams are permitted outside the apartments, in the outdoor areas.
- Suitcases and large rucksacks are prohibited.
- No flash photography allowed inside the château
- The monument is not accessible to minors unaccompanied by an adult.
- For scheduled events, please arrive at the reception/ticket office at least 15 minutes before the event is due to start.
- Smoking is prohibited throughout the site, both inside and outside the monument. Pursuant to Decree No. 2025-582 of 27 June 2025 on smoke-free areas, outdoor public spaces where children and young people may be present or exposed to smoke, in particular public parks and gardens, are designated as smoke-free areas.

DISABLED
- Castelnau-Bretenoux Castle is partially accessible to people with reduced mobility.
- The route includes numerous steps.
- Access to the inner courtyard is difficult for wheelchair users due to the gravel and cobblestone surface.
- The furnished rooms and the artillery tower are not accessible to wheelchair users.
